Caring for Someone You Love? You May Be Able to Get Paid.
You're already showing up for your loved one every day. What if you could receive compensation for some of the care you're providing?
Through certain Ohio Medicaid waiver programs, eligible family members may be able to become paid caregivers.
At Harmony House Cares, we help families explore their options, understand program requirements, and take the next steps toward becoming paid family caregivers.

You Care for Them Because You Love Them
Maybe you're helping your mother get dressed every morning. Preparing meals for your father. Supporting an adult child with developmental disabilities. Or spending countless hours making sure someone you love is safe, comfortable, and cared for.
For many families, caregiving is already part of everyday life. But did you know that some family caregivers may qualify to receive payment for approved caregiving services?
You may have options you haven't explored yet. Let Harmony House Cares help you find out.
Becoming a Paid Family Caregiver
How It Works
1. Tell Us About Your Family
Complete our quick Family Caregiver Eligibility Check. Tell us who you care for, what assistance they need, and whether they currently receive Medicaid or waiver services.
2. We'll Review Your Situation
Our team will review your information and help identify whether your family may meet the requirements of a program we serve.
3. Explore Your Options
If your family appears to qualify, we'll explain the next steps, including any required service authorization, caregiver qualifications, and agency onboarding.
4. Get Paid to Care
Once all applicable requirements and approvals are completed, an eligible family member may begin providing authorized paid caregiving services through Harmony House Cares.
